Collected by C. G. Pringle near Trinidad Iron Works, Hidalgo, at 5,702 feet, it belongs to the tradition of systematic botanical collecting rather than print satire. No political target, printmaking technique, or caricature tradition applies here. A wall label for a comic-art exhibition cannot honestly be written for this object.
