Terje Nordberg
Terje Nordberg was born on 21 November 1949 in Norway. He is a comics artist, writer, and editor, now living in San Jose, California with his wife Nancy. Nordberg began making comic strips for the underground publication *Gateavisa* in the late 1960s. He is best known for his writing on the album series *Truls og Trine*, *Reodor og Teodor*, and *Troll*, where his frequent collaborator was artist Arild Midthun. For the album *Troll: Sølvskatten*, he received the Sproing Award in 1988. Beyond comics, Nordberg is a painter, often depicting California landscapes with whimsical cows. His credited work spans from 1973 to 2023 across 85 issues, with notable titles including *Kaptein Sabeltann*, *Eskimonika på nye eventyr*, *Micke och Maja*, *Andrés Önd*, *Nissens jul*, and *Humoralbum*. His career reflects a steady, versatile presence in Norwegian comics, from underground beginnings to mainstream album projects.
