Sean O'Reilly
Sean Patrick O’Reilly is a Canadian writer, director, producer, and voice actor best known as the founder and owner of Arcana Studio, a comic book and animation company based in British Columbia. Born in Canada, he emerged as one of the country’s most prolific independent comic book writers, with his work reaching readers in eleven countries and multiple languages. O’Reilly’s career in comics began in the early 2000s; between 2004 and 2008, he was credited as a letterer and writer on eighteen issues, with his most frequent titles including *Ant*, *Clockwork Girl*, *Kade*, *Ezra*, and *Ezra vs. 10th Muse*, as well as a run on *The Greatest American Hero*. His signature style blends superhero action with accessible, character-driven storytelling, often collaborating with artists from Arcana’s stable. O’Reilly co-created the series *Clockwork Girl*, which later became an animated feature. In later years, he expanded Arcana into animation, directing and producing adaptations of his own comics. His legacy lies in building a self-sustaining independent comics ecosystem in Canada, and he has received industry recognition for his contributions to both print and screen.
