Michel Fiffe
Michel Fiffe is a Cuban-American cartoonist known for his self-published series *COPRA* and his work on Marvel's *All-New Ultimates*. Born in , he entered the comics scene in the late 2000s, quickly establishing himself as a singular voice. Fiffe's signature style blends raw, kinetic linework with a punk-inspired sensibility, often handling writing, art, colors, and lettering himself. His breakout work, *COPRA*, is a love letter to the gritty, hyper-violent team comics of the 1980s, particularly John Ostrander's *Suicide Squad*, but filtered through Fiffe's own unhinged, experimental lens. He has also collaborated on licensed properties, including *G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte* and a run on *Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers*. Fiffe's approach to comics is fiercely independent, and his work on *All-New Ultimates* brought his distinctive aesthetic to the mainstream, co-creating a new generation of teen heroes. Later projects include the miniseries *Death of Copra*, which continues his exploration of mercenary mayhem. While major industry awards have not been a hallmark of his career, Fiffe's influence is felt strongly among underground and alternative comics circles, where his uncompromising vision and DIY ethos have made him a cult figure.
