Kari Korhonen
1973–
Kari Korhonen, born 8 October 1973, is a Finnish cartoonist best known for his long-running work on Disney comics, particularly stories featuring Donald Duck. He began drawing for the Danish publisher Egmont Group in 1993, where he became a regular contributor to Donald Duck tales as well as Winnie the Pooh comics. Beyond Disney, Korhonen has worked as a commercial illustrator for magazines and children's books, and in 2011 he wrote and drew the first Angry Birds comic. His style is clean and expressive, well-suited to both the slapstick energy of Donald Duck and the gentle charm of Pooh. Over a career spanning from 1997 into the 2020s, he has been credited as artist, colorist, inker, and writer on more than fifty issues, with his work appearing in titles such as *Donald Duck & Co*, *Andrés Önd*, *Donald spesial*, *Walt Disney's Comics and Stories*, *Miki Hiir*, and *Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck*. Korhonen remains active, contributing to the enduring legacy of Disney comics in Europe.
