Corrado Mastantuono

Corrado Mastantuono was born on 20 December 1962 in Rome, Italy. He began his career in animation before transitioning to comics in 1989, contributing to the Italian magazine *L'Eternauta*. Soon after, he joined the Italian branch of Walt Disney Productions, drawing Disney comics for several years. Mastantuono is best known for his extensive work with Sergio Bonelli Editore, Italy's premier comics publisher, where he contributed to series such as *Nick Raider* and *Magico Vento*. In 2004, he released the fantasy series *Elias le maudit* for the French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés. His signature style blends clean, expressive linework with a dynamic sense of movement, often enhanced by his skills as a colorist and inker. Over a career spanning from 1991 to 2024, he has been credited on 47 issues, with his most frequent work appearing in *Tex*, *Tex Willer*, *The Witcher: Corvo Bianco*, *Comic Art*, *Joakim*, and *Il Grande Blek*. Mastantuono's legacy lies in his versatility across genres and publishers, from Disney humor to Bonelli's adventure and fantasy, solidifying his reputation as a prolific and adaptable Italian comics artist.
