Bob Greenberger
Bob Greenberger (born July 24, 1958) is an American writer and editor best known for his executive roles at both Marvel and DC Comics, as well as his work on the magazines *Comics Scene* and *Starlog*. Born in the United States, he began his career in the 1980s, contributing as a writer and letterer on over two dozen comic issues between 1985 and 2020. His most credited titles include *DC Challenge*, *Super Powers*, *Who's Who: Update '87*, and *DC Comics Presents*. Greenberger also wrote the novelization of the film *Hellboy II* and worked for *Weekly World News*. A key collaborator on reference works, he helped compile the *Crisis on Infinite Earths Companion Deluxe Edition* and the *Crisis on Infinite Earths Giant*. Beyond comics, he served as an elected official in his hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. Greenberger’s legacy lies in his behind-the-scenes influence as an editor and his contributions to expanding the DC Universe’s continuity through reference guides. He has not been noted as a recipient of major industry awards.
