Zerbina

Zerbina made her entrance in the pages of Zippy Quarterly #1 in 1993, born from the singular imagination of underground comics legend Bill Griffith and published by the ever-adventurous Fantagraphics. She inhabits the wonderfully surreal world of Zippy the Pinhead, sharing those offbeat pages with the likes of Griffy, Mr. Toad, and Claude Funston — as eclectic a cast of characters as you'll find anywhere in 1990s alternative comics. Her appearances span Griffith's core Zippy titles through the early 2000s, making her a genuine piece of that distinctive, irreverent universe that Fantagraphics championed so passionately during the Copper and Modern Age.
