A young Native American warrior who became lost in a prehistoric valley teeming with dinosaurs and other ancient dangers, Turok first crossed over into the Valiant Universe in a crossover with Magnus Robot Fighter before starring in his own series.

Bursting onto the scene in 1992 within the pages of Magnus Robot Fighter, Turok made his Valiant Universe debut courtesy of Jim Shooter, Faye Perozich, and Mark Moretti — arriving at a moment when Valiant was building one of the most ambitious shared universes of the Copper/Modern Age. Over more than three decades, this dinosaur hunter has carved out a distinctive niche, appearing across landmark Valiant titles including the crossover event Deathmate and rubbing shoulders with heavy hitters like X-O Manowar, Archer, Armstrong, and the enigmatic Master Darque. His own series, Turok, Dinosaur Hunter, stands as the heart of his legacy, and with 32 years of publication history behind him, he's proof that the Valiant Universe's appetite for bold, genre-blending adventure never really fades.
