Tony Gallo

A creature of Marvel's criminal underworld, Tony Gallo stepped onto the page in 2010, born from the collaboration of Fred Van Lente and Barry Kitson in Spider-Man: The Gauntlet — one of the Modern Age's most celebrated Spider-Man storylines. With just a handful of appearances, Gallo is a compact, atmospheric figure whose world is defined by the dangerous company he keeps: mob heavyweights like Silvermane and Hammerhead, the enigmatic Mysterio, and fellow street-level players Eddie Costa and Joe Karnelli Jr. He may be a small piece of the puzzle, but in the shadowy corners of The Amazing Spider-Man, even minor players cast long shadows.
