Tick
Tick is the German name for Huey, one of Donald Duck's three mischievous nephews. The energetic youngster frequently gets into scrapes alongside his brothers Trick and Track, and often relies on his Junior Woodchucks handbook to save the day.
Tick made their comics debut in 1954 within the pages of Micky Maus Sonderheft #20, brought to life by the celebrated Paul Murry in what stands as a genuine Golden Age origin. Published under Egmont Ehapa, this character has persisted across an extraordinary seven decades of comics history, appearing alongside beloved figures like Dagobert Duck, Daisy Duck, and the inventive Daniel Düsentrieb. With appearances concentrated in prestige Barks Library collections and at least one key issue to their name, Tick is a charming piece of the rich European Disney comics tradition that any serious collector of the era will want to explore.
