The Girl from L.S.D.
Few characters carry a title quite as audaciously eye-catching as The Girl from L.S.D., a Bronze Age original who burst onto the scene in 1973's Paragon Super Heroes #1 courtesy of creator Bill Black. Born from the anything-goes spirit of early-'70s independent comics publishing, she's a product of AC's scrappy, distinctive corner of the medium — the kind of house that never played it safe. Her appearances are rare and collectible, including at least one key issue that serious hunters keep on their radar, and she shares her pages with a wonderfully eclectic cast that includes Phantom Lady and Silva Synn. The fact that her footprint stretches across nearly four decades — from 1973 all the way to 2012 — is a testament to the enduring cult loyalty AC's characters inspire in those who discover them.
