Sasami Masaki Jurai is the young princess of the royal house of Jurai and little sister of Ayeka, who ends up living on Earth alongside Tenchi Masaki and a chaotic household of alien women in the classic manga series No Need for Tenchi.

Sasami Masaki Jurai made her North American comics debut in Viz's Mangazine #34 in 1994, stepping onto the page during a golden moment for manga localization in the Copper/Modern Age. She keeps lively company with a memorable ensemble — Tenchi Masaki, Ryoko Hakubi, Ayeka Masaki Jurai, Mihoshi Kuramitsu, and Washu Hakubi — the colorful cast that made No Need for Tenchi such a beloved title of the era.
