Rond Vidar
Rond Vidar is a supporting character in DC's 30th-century Legion of Super-Heroes universe, the son of villain Universo and a gifted scientist who becomes one of the few non-Legionnaires to receive a Legion flight ring.
Rond Vidar made his entrance in the Bronze Age pages of Limited Collectors' Edition #C-49 (1976), brought to life by the legendary Legion architects Jim Shooter and Curt Swan β and that pedigree alone marks him as a character worth seeking out. Over nearly five decades, he's remained a fixture in DC's far-future mythology, appearing across Legion of Super-Heroes, Legionnaires, and even earning a spot in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe, the ultimate sign that the DC universe considers you essential. He keeps remarkable company β sharing pages with luminaries like Brainiac 5, Saturn Girl, and Salu Digby β and two of his appearances carry the weight of collector-significant key issues, proof that his moments in the spotlight have mattered. For fans of the Legion's sprawling 30th-century tapestry, Rond Vidar is one of those rewarding deeper dives that reminds you how richly populated that corner of DC history truly is.
