Created by John Carey, this briefly glimpsed figure shares his world with a lively cast including Hakke Hakkespett, Hanne, Hans, Dora Due, and Don Due — colorful company that hints at the playful, character-rich stories these pages contained. With only a handful of catalog appearances across 1965–66, Romeo is a genuine rarity, the kind of minor Silver Age find that reminds collectors just how wide and wonderfully varied the comic book world truly was beyond the American mainstream.
