Puma
Thomas Fireheart is a wealthy Native American businessman and the chief of his tribe, trained from birth to be a spiritual champion and assassin. He can transform into a powerful puma-like form, and first clashed with Spider-Man while working as a mercenary.
A fierce presence born in the Copper Age, Puma made their debut in Strange #198 in 1986, brought to life by the celebrated team of Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. Published through Editions Lug, this character shares the page with some of Marvel's heaviest hitters β Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the likes of Peter Parker and Matt Murdock β which speaks to the caliber of company they keep. Spanning a twenty-year publishing window through 2006 and appearing across titles like Nova and the curated Best of Marvel : mariages Marvel, Puma is a character whose footprint, though compact in catalog count, connects to the heart of the Marvel universe in its most dynamic era.
