A Bronze Age creation from the celebrated Roger Stern and John Byrne run on Captain America, Pierce Benedict stepped onto Marvel's stage in 1980 and has kept remarkable company ever since — sharing pages with the likes of Union Jack, Iron Man, and Janet Van Dyne. Though his catalog footprint is modest, his debut in the fan-favorite Captain America #251 places him squarely in one of the most beloved eras of that title, a run so cherished it's been collected and reissued under the War & Remembrance banner.
