Who is Numerobis?

Numerobis is an Egyptian architect in Asterix and Cleopatra who is tasked by Cleopatra herself with constructing a magnificent palace — and enlists the help of Asterix and Obelix when rivals try to sabotage his work.

Numerobis made his debut in 1969, stepping onto the page in the second Asterix album and into the orbit of some of the most beloved figures in European comics — Asterix, Obelix, and none other than Kleopatra and Julius Cäsar himself. Published by Egmont Ehapa, this Silver Age character has endured across an impressive 54-year span, appearing in both the classic Asterix series and the celebrated Asterix Mundart dialect editions, with at least one collector-significant key issue to his name. A supporting player in one of comics' most cherished and witty universes, Numerobis is a rewarding find for fans who love digging into the rich ensemble that makes the Asterix world so endlessly entertaining.
