Midnight

A creature of the open road and the Bronze Age Marvel universe, Midnight rolled onto the scene in 1983's U.S. 1 #2, courtesy of creators Milgrom and Trimpe. This short-lived series had a wonderfully offbeat corner of the Marvel cosmos all to itself, and Midnight shares those pages with a colorful cast including U.S. Archer, Annie Wheeler, and Poppa Wheelie. With only a handful of appearances to their name, Midnight is a true deep-cut discovery — the kind of obscure Bronze Age find that reminds collectors just how gloriously weird and wide Marvel's world could get.
