Marij'n Bek
Marij'n Bek is a supporting character in the sci-fi ensemble series L.E.G.I.O.N., the interstellar law-enforcement organization led by Vril Dox II. She operates within that morally complex cosmic setting alongside figures such as Lobo and Stealth.
Emerging from the creative partnership of Alan Grant, Keith Giffen, and Barry Kitson, Marij'n Bek made her DC debut in 1989's L.E.G.I.O.N. '89 #8 — right at the heart of that era's bold push into science-fiction ensemble storytelling. Her appearances span the run of the L.E.G.I.O.N. series into the early '90s, placing her in genuinely electric company alongside the likes of Lobo, Vril Dox II, Stealth, and Phase. She may be a quieter presence in the catalog with five recorded appearances, but for collectors who love the cosmic, morally complex corner of the DC universe that L.E.G.I.O.N. carved out, she's a rewarding piece of that richly populated world worth tracking down.
