Magica de Hex
Magica de Hex is a villainous sorceress from the Disney duck universe, best known for her obsessive quest to steal Scrooge McDuck's Number One Dime, believing it holds the secret to her magical ambitions. She is the Swedish-language edition of the classic Carl Barks–created character.
Magica de Hex made her Swedish comics debut in 1970, stepping onto the Silver Age stage in the pages of Kalle Anka & C:o under the hand of Tony Strobl — a name synonymous with the classic Disney duck universe. Published by Hemmets Journal across nearly three decades, she's a fixture of the Scandinavian Disney comics tradition, sharing her pages with beloved figures like Farbror Joakim, Musse Pigg, and the mischievous trio of Knatte, Fnatte, and Tjatte. A character with genuine longevity and a place in the hearts of Nordic comics readers, she's a rewarding find for collectors who love exploring how iconic Disney characters traveled and evolved across international editions.
