King Adolph the Eleventeenth

A regal oddity from the independent comics scene, King Adolph the Eleventeenth made his entrance in the pages of Fantagraphics' Hugo #1 in 1982 — right in the heart of the Bronze Age, when alternative publishers were carving out wonderfully eccentric corners of the medium.
