Jay Little Bear

Jay Little Bear is a U.S. Marine serving under Captain Simon Savage as part of the Leatherneck Raiders, a World War II combat unit. He debuted alongside the full Raiders roster in the team's inaugural issue.

Jay Little Bear burst onto the Marvel scene in 1968, a Silver Age original brought to life by the creative team of Gary Friedrich and Dick Ayers in the very first issue of Capt. Savage and His Leatherneck Raiders — a key-issue debut that collectors still seek out today. As part of that debut ensemble, Jay shares his wartime adventures with a colorful cast including Captain Simon Savage, the wisecracking Sgt.
