Irving Nebbish

A lovably hapless everyman born in the pages of Marvel's irreverent humor magazine Crazy, Irving Nebbish shuffled onto the scene in 1977 — right in the thick of the Bronze Age, when comics were pushing boundaries and finding laughs wherever they could. Created by Len Herman and Kent Gamble, Irving called Crazy Magazine home, Marvel's answer to the anything-goes spirit of satirical humor publishing. His catalog footprint is small but perfectly formed, a charming little artifact of that wonderfully weird corner of Marvel history where superheroes took a back seat to sharp wit and comic absurdity.
