Hellfire

Hellfire is a minor Marvel villain who debuted as one of the Elementals, a group of ancient, godlike beings who clashed with Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel) in the late 1970s alongside fellow Elementals Hydron, Magnum, and Zephyr.

Hellfire burst onto the Bronze Age Marvel scene in 1977, introduced by the legendary team of Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema in the pages of Ms. Marvel — a series that was crackling with energy and ambition from the start. Sharing those early adventures with the likes of Carol Danvers herself alongside Hydron, Magnum, and Zephyr, this character arrived in genuinely memorable company. What's remarkable is that Hellfire's footprint stretches across roughly four decades, turning up again as late as 2017 in Thor: Gods & Deviants — a testament to a character with real staying power in the Marvel universe.
