Goldstar is Michelle Carter, the sister of time-traveling hero Booster Gold. After her brother's heroic example inspired her, Michelle adopted the Goldstar identity, operating in the same era and occasionally alongside Booster himself in the post-Crisis DC Universe.

Goldstar made their DC debut in 1987's Superman #7, courtesy of the legendary John Byrne, stepping onto the Copper Age stage right as the post-Crisis DC Universe was finding its footing. With appearances spread across Booster Gold, Action Comics, and Adventures of Superman over more than two decades, this is a character woven into the fabric of some of DC's most beloved titles.
