Genesis
Evan Sabahnur is a gentle, Kansas-raised boy secretly engineered as a clone of Apocalypse, designed to one day become his successor. Enrolled at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, he struggles to forge his own identity in the shadow of the monstrous legacy others have planned for him.
Debuting in the pages of Wolverine & the X-Men #4 in 2012, Genesis is a Modern Age Marvel creation brought to life by Chris Bachalo, emerging from one of the X-Men line's most celebrated and character-rich eras. Over roughly twelve years of comics history, this figure has shared the page with heavyweights like Wolverine, Iceman, and Evan Sabahnur across titles including All-New X-Men: Inevitable and even Deadpool: The Saga of Wade Wilson — an eclectic roster that speaks to a genuinely wide footprint in the Marvel universe. With 18 catalogued appearances spanning more than a decade, Genesis may not be the loudest name in the room, but any collector who digs into those Wolverine & the X-Men early issues will find a character worth tracking down and understanding on their own terms.
