Bursting onto the Marvel scene in 1990's Avengers Spotlight #28, Gargantua is a Copper Age creation from Howard Mackie and Milgrom who has rubbed shoulders with some of the heaviest hitters in the Marvel Universe — Thor, Doctor Doom, and the Incredible Hulk all share pages in this character's catalog footprint.
