Falcon
Joaquín Torres is a young man who gained avian abilities after being experimented on by the villain Zemo's scientists, leaving him with feathered wings, talons, enhanced vision, a regenerative healing factor, and a psychic bond with the falcon Redwing. Mentored by Sam Wilson, he took up the Falcon mantle.
Fresh out of the Modern Age Marvel universe, this Falcon made their debut in the pages of Captain America: Sam Wilson #21 in 2017, brought to life by the sharp creative pairing of Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuña. Sharing adventures with heavy-hitters like Captain America, Sam Wilson, Spider-Man, and Miles Morales, this is a character embedded in the beating heart of contemporary Marvel storytelling. With appearances spread across Captain America: Symbol of Truth, Champions, and Sam Wilson: Captain America, Falcon flies in some of the most socially charged, action-packed corners of the Marvel universe. Still an active presence through the mid-2020s, this is a character worth tracking for any fan who loves their comics current, connected, and full of Marvel's finest company.
