Eve
Eve is a Platinum Age comics character depicted in the American humor magazine Judge, drawing on the biblical figure of the same name. She appears alongside characters such as Adam, Cain, and Abel in stories rooted in Genesis narrative.
Few characters can claim a debut as ancient in comics history as Eve, who first graced the pages of Judge back in 1906 β a genuine Platinum Age figure brought to life by artist Dan Sayre Groesbeck. Published across an extraordinary span stretching more than a century, from 1906 all the way to 2020, she's appeared in the pages of Life, Judge, and The Bible: Eden, keeping company with some of the most storied names in all of narrative history β Adam, Noah, Cain, Abel, and even Uncle Sam. With 31 catalog appearances spread across 114 years, Eve is a quietly remarkable presence in comics' long story, a testament to how the medium has returned again and again to the oldest tales humanity knows.
