A creature of the Marvel underworld, Eddie Costa stepped onto the scene in 2010's Spider-Man: The Gauntlet — a modern-era debut that dropped him straight into some seriously dangerous company. Created by Fred Van Lente and Barry Kitson, he inhabits the gritty criminal corners of the Spider-Man universe, sharing pages with heavy hitters like Mysterio, Hammerhead, and Silvermane.
