Earthquake
Earthquake is a member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, the elite alien peacekeeping force that serves the Shi'ar Empire. They appeared during the landmark Dark Phoenix Saga, where the Imperial Guard clashed with the X-Men in a trial by combat on the moon.
Born into the cosmic grandeur of the Bronze Age, Earthquake made their Marvel debut in the legendary pages of The X-Men #137 in 1980 β one of the most celebrated single issues in comics history β courtesy of the superstar creative team of Chris Claremont and John Byrne. With ties to both the Shi'ar Imperial Guard and the Starjammers, this character moves in some of the most spectacular cosmic company Marvel has to offer, sharing adventures with powerhouses like Gladiator, Kallark, Warstar, Smasher, and Oracle. Earthquake's footprint spans an impressive 34 years across titles like The Uncanny X-Men, Inhumans, and Infinity, and carries the distinction of belonging to the X-Men as well β a rare triple affiliation that speaks to a genuinely far-reaching presence in the Marvel cosmos. A relatively rare find with just eleven catalogued appearances, Earthquake is exactly the kind of deep-cut cosmic character that rewards the dedicated collector willing to dig beneath the surface.
