Dr. David Zhan stepped into the Marvel Universe in 2003, debuting in Bruce Jones's celebrated run on Incredible Hulk — a Modern Age series that kept some genuinely dangerous company, with the likes of Absorbing Man and Bruce Banner himself sharing those pages. A figure operating in the shadowy, tension-filled world that Jones crafted around the Hulk mythos, Zhan also surfaces in Hulk: Abominable, marking him as a character woven into one of the more gripping corners of early 2000s Hulk storytelling.
