Doktor Doom
Doktor Doom is the German-language edition of Marvel's Doctor Doom, the armored monarch of Latveria and archenemy of the Fantastic Four. Born Victor Von Doom, he donned an iron mask and suit after a scientific accident scarred his face.
A fixture of the Silver Age and a name that commands instant recognition, Doktor Doom made their debut in Hit Comics #2 in 1966, brought to life by the legendary creative pairing of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Published under Panini Deutschland, this character has maintained a presence in the catalog across an impressive stretch running all the way to 2025, appearing most prominently in the pages of Die Fantastischen Vier, Hit Comics, and Iron Man. The company here is remarkable β sharing issues with the likes of Victor von Doom, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, Das Ding, and Die Unsichtbare places Doktor Doom squarely at the heart of some of comics' most celebrated adventures. With nearly six decades of publication history and at least one collector-recognized key issue to their name, this is a character worth seeking out for any serious fan of Silver Age material.
