Who is Coran?

Coran is the royal advisor to Princess Allura and steward of the Castle of Lions on Planet Arus, serving as a wise counselor and logistical support figure for the Voltron Force in their defense against the Drule Empire.

Coran steps onto the Modern Age comics scene with the very first issue of Devil's Due Publishing's Voltron: Defender of the Universe in 2003, brought to life by the creative team of Dan Jolley, Mike Norton, and Clint Hilinski. Part of a short but collector-noted run, this character shares the pages with an exciting roster including Allura, Lance McClain, Hunk Garrett, Pidge Stoker, and Sven Holgersson — the heart of the Voltron universe in comics form. With two key-issue appearances among a tight nine-issue catalog presence, Coran may not be the most prolific figure in the run, but those appearances carry real significance for completionists and Voltron devotees alike. If you're building out a serious Devil's Due Voltron collection, Coran is absolutely part of the story you need to tell.
