Claire is a supporting character in Marvel's cult comic adaptation of the Toxic Avenger, inhabiting the offbeat, irreverent world surrounding the monstrous hero Toxie and the Melvin Junko storyline.

Stepping out of the gritty, anything-goes energy of the early '90s, Claire made her debut in Marvel's Toxic Avenger #1 (1991), courtesy of creators Doug Moench and Rod Ramos. Her world is a wild one — she shares the page with the Toxic Avenger himself and the Melvin Junko lineage, making for some of the most gloriously offbeat company Marvel published in that Copper/Modern Age era.
