Bushroot

Bushroot is a plant-human hybrid villain from the animated world of Darkwing Duck, a botanist-turned-botanical-bad-guy who menaces the city of St. Canard. He is a founding member of the Fearsome Five alongside Megavolt, Quackerjack, and other rogues.

Sprouting onto the scene in 1992's Disney's Colossal Comics Collection #5, Bushroot is one of the delightfully unhinged villains who make the world of Darkwing Duck such a joy to revisit. Debuting in the Copper/Modern Age and persisting all the way into 2025, this botanical bad guy has shared panels with some of St. Canard's most memorable troublemakers — Megavolt, Quackerjack, and the terror that flaps in the night himself, Darkwing Duck. With Darkwing Duck titles from Boom!
