"Bugs" Brighty

A Platinum Age original, "Bugs" Brighty stepped onto the page in 1937's More Fun Comics — one of DC's earliest anthology showcases — courtesy of creator Will Georgi. Active through the mid-1940s, Bugs shares those storied pages with an eclectic crowd including the mysterious Dr. Occult and reporter Hal "Scoop" Harlon, giving a real sense of the wild, anything-goes spirit that defined comics in their earliest days.
