Bubbles
Bubbles is one of the Powerpuff Girls, a super-powered kindergartner created by Professor Utonium when sugar, spice, and everything nice were accidentally combined with Chemical X. She appeared in DC's comics adaptation of the Cartoon Network animated series.
One of the beloved trio at the heart of DC's The Powerpuff Girls comics, Bubbles made her four-color debut in the Modern Age gem Superman for the Animals #1 (2000), brought to the page by the creative team of Mark Millar, Richard De Angelis, and Tom Grummett. That debut issue carries genuine key-issue status among collectors, a fitting launchpad for a character who would go on to rack up appearances across The Powerpuff Girls, Cartoon Network Block Party, and Powerpuff Girls Classics over an impressive 25-year publishing span. She shares her adventures with a wonderfully familiar cast β Blossom, Buttercup, Professor Utonium, Mojo Jojo, and the Mayor among them β making these comics a joyful read for anyone who grew up with the franchise. Whether you're a devoted collector or a fan rediscovering Townsville through ink and color, Bubbles' DC run is a warm, energetic corner of the Modern Age well worth exploring.
