Boomerang
Boomerang is a mercenary villain in the Marvel Universe, a former baseball pitcher who turned to crime and armed himself with razor-edged boomerang weapons. He frequently clashes with street-level heroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil.
A Bronze Age villain with real staying power, Boomerang made their catalog debut in 1984's Une Aventure de l'Araignée #20 — a French-market publication from Editions Lug, brought to life by the formidable creative trio of Chris Claremont, Sal Buscema, and Steve Leialoha. Across a publishing span stretching all the way to 2019, this character turns up in the company of heavyweights like Spider-Man, Logan, and Matt Murdock, which tells you something about the caliber of stories they inhabit. Appearing most across Strange, Marvel Méga, and Marvel Generations, Boomerang is a rewarding find for collectors who love digging into the rich world of Franco-Belgian Marvel publishing — 35 years on the shelves is no small feat.
