Bib Fortuna
Bib Fortuna is a Twi'lek majordomo who serves as the scheming, silver-tongued aide to the crime lord Jabba the Hutt, managing access to his master's Tatooine palace while pursuing his own treacherous ambitions beneath a facade of loyalty.
Few characters in the Marvel Star Wars galaxy carry the sinister, slithering intrigue of Bib Fortuna, who slithered onto the Bronze Age comics page in 1983's Marvel Super Special #27, brought to life by the legendary Al Williamson and Carlos Garzón. Haunting the same pages as Jabba the Hutt, Boba Fett, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker, he's woven into some of the most iconic company in all of comics. Spanning an impressive four decades of publication across Marvel Super Special, Star Wars, and Darth Vader, this figure has proven far more enduring than a background schemer has any right to be — with a key-issue appearance on his résumé to boot. Sixteen catalog appearances may sound modest, but for a collector who knows their Star Wars comics lore, Bib Fortuna is a name that carries real weight.
