Who is Bi-Beast?

Bi-Beast is a massive two-headed android created by the Bird People, an ancient Avian civilization, to preserve their culture and knowledge — one head containing their warfare expertise, the other their cultural learning. Fiercely devoted to his creators' legacy, he clashes with Marvel's powerhouses to protect it.

Few Bronze Age creatures carry a name as bluntly unforgettable as Bi-Beast, who crashed into Marvel continuity in Thor #315 in 1982, courtesy of Doug Moench, Keith Pollard, and Gene Day. Over four decades this imposing figure has carved out a niche across titles like Thor, Quasar, and Defenders, sharing pages with some of Marvel's heaviest hitters — Bruce Banner, the Hulk, Tony Stark, and Captain America among them. With 20 catalog appearances spanning all the way to 2023 and a key issue to their name, Bi-Beast is exactly the kind of deep-cut Bronze Age discovery that rewards the curious collector who looks beyond the headliners.
