Bat-Cow
Bat-Cow is a literal cow who became an unlikely member of the Batman family, first appearing in the all-ages Tiny Titans series before later grazing into mainline DC titles alongside Robin and other Bat-family heroes.
Few characters in DC's Modern Age can claim an origin as delightfully absurd as Bat-Cow β a bovine hero who first wandered onto the page in Art Baltazar and Franco's beloved Tiny Titans in 2009 and somehow stuck around long enough to graze through the pages of Batman Incorporated and Detective Comics. Over roughly twelve years, this udderly unlikely addition to the Batman family kept remarkable company, sharing adventures with the likes of Robin, Batgirl, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, and Alfred Pennyworth. With 17 catalog appearances spanning some of DC's most storied titles, Bat-Cow is living proof that the Modern Age had room for both grim darkness and pure, joyful whimsy β and any collector who stumbles across her knows they've found something genuinely one-of-a-kind.
