Bart Gamble
Bart Gamble stepped onto the page in 1985 courtesy of Don Simpson's sharp, satirical universe at Kitchen Sink Press — a Bronze Age creation born into one of indie comics' most gleefully irreverent playgrounds. Across a catalog that stretched into the turn of the millennium, Gamble carved out a niche in titles like Megaton Man, The Return of Megaton Man, and the wonderfully titled Megaton Man Meets The Uncategorizable X+Thems, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Megaton Man himself, Yarn Man, and Trent Phloog. With only six appearances to his name, he's a deep-cut find for the dedicated Simpson enthusiast — the kind of supporting character who gives a rich satirical world its texture and keeps collectors hunting through back-issue bins with a grin.
