Arachnid

Arachnid is a minor villain or antagonist inhabiting Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon universe, first encountered when Dragon was establishing himself as a superpowered Chicago cop battling the city's criminal and superhuman underworld.

Crawling out of the early Image Comics explosion, Arachnid made their debut in The Savage Dragon #2 in 1992 — right at the heart of that bold, creator-owned Copper/Modern Age moment when Erik Larsen was building one of indie comics' most enduring universes. Over more than three decades, this character has woven through the pages of Savage Dragon, Ant, and Savage Dragon Archives, keeping wild company alongside the likes of Dragon, Mighty Man, and Horridus.
