Anguirus

Anguirus is a massive, ankylosaurus-like kaiju and one of Godzilla's oldest rival-turned-ally monsters, first appearing in Toho's classic films before stomping into IDW's comics universe, where he clashes and allies with fellow titans including Godzilla, Rodan, and Battra.

Anguirus stomps into IDW's Modern Age kaiju universe with a debut in the pages of Godzilla: Gangsters and Goliaths #4 (2011), brought to life by artist Alberto Ponticelli. Over a dozen years of IDW's Godzilla publishing line, this legendary monster has shared the page with an awe-inspiring roster — Godzilla, Rodan, Kumonga, Battra, and Titanosaurus — making every appearance feel like a collision of titans.
