Zot!

Scott McCloud’s Zot! (1985–present) began as a lively, full-color superhero comic from Eclipse Comics, following the adventures of a bright-eyed hero from a parallel Earth and his friends in our world. McCloud wrote and drew most of the series, with early art assists from Matt Feazell, crafting a story that balanced classic caped action with a sharp, humanistic touch. Though it started as a single issue, the series grew to become a landmark in independent comics, showcasing McCloud’s evolving storytelling and his thoughtful exploration of heroism, reality, and creativity.
