From 1961 onward, L. Miller & Son brought the undead to British newsstands with Zombie, an eight-issue horror comic that repackaged classic EC stories from Al Feldstein and Bill Gaines. Artists like Bernard Baily, Don Heck, and Ed Waldman lent their grim, atmospheric pencils to tales of the walking dead and supernatural dread. Though short-lived, the series stands as a key artifact of the UK's embrace of American horror comics, preserving the chilling, twist-laden storytelling that defined the genre's golden age.
