Zolastraya and the Bard

From 1987 onward, Terry Echterling and Zolastraya have co-written and co-illustrated this five-issue series from Twilight Twins Productions, blending autobiographical fantasy with mythic poetry. The book follows the duo's own adventures as they navigate a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, often drawing on Zolastraya's bardic storytelling. Its intimate, handcrafted approach and direct collaboration between the creators make it a distinctive, personal artifact of small-press comics.
