Zhong Guo

In the early 2000s, Dupuis launched Zhong Guo, a single-issue comic by the celebrated Belgian duo of writer Yves Huppen and artist Hermann. This standalone story explores a tense, atmospheric journey into a mysterious and isolated region of China, showcasing Hermann's signature detailed, moody artwork and Huppen's taut storytelling. Though brief, it stands as a compelling example of the creators' mature, European adventure style.
